Definitions:
Deity: God or being God.
Transcendence: God is beyond us. God is not just another human. He is God. He is holy. He is perfect. He is not us. He is the creator.
We are the created. Without Jesus' help, we could never enter into the presence of God. Thus, God is to be treated with highest respect.
Immanence: God became a human. God came near to us when Jesus (God's son) became a man. Through faith in Jesus,
the person of faith can walk confidently into the presence of God. Thus, God can be known.
Depreciation: No longer giving respect. No longer valuing.
